Designed for companies that would benefit from an outside, unbiased point of view to look at their journey toward organizational excellence. Formal reports and recommendations generally are part of the follow-up.

2. EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT TRAINING
A basic understanding of teams and strategies that include self management, total quality management (TQM) principles, improved thinking processes, group decision making, teamwork, empowerment, etc. to instill a sense of ownership, as well as improve profitability and effectiveness of the organization.

3. COACHING / LEADERSHIP VS. MANAGING
Assists leaders, (supervisors, managers, etc.) at all levels and support personnel in making the transition toward a leadership style that encourages and develops greater employee involvement. There are several modules to select from.

4. COMMUNICATION & FEEDBACK SKILLS
(POSITIVE APPROACHES TO ATTAIN POSITIVE RESPONSES)
Learning to effectively inform a team member, employee, or co-worker of business needs, expectations, and/or his / her performance without causing anger. Helping people realize that others relate toward them only from their perception; therefore, improving the perception should improve the employee's effectiveness. Helps team members to accept responsibility for effective communication.

5. PEER DISCIPLINE AS A TOOL FOR EFFECTIVENESS
Helping team members to deal with counter-productive behaviors within the team in a factual and constructive way that focuses on specific behaviors instead of personalities. 

6. ALIGNMENT OF INDIVIDUAL & ORGANIZATIONAL
VALUES & ETHICS
Helping employees to examine their personal values in relation to desired organizational values to bring about better alignment and effectiveness. An excellent session for all employees but especially good for people in leadership positions.

7. CREATIVITY
Finding new ways to view old and new situations to bring about more effective outcomes. Helps participants realize that creativity can be learned and enhanced, and is not totally a genetic gift.

8. STRESS MANAGEMENT & PHYSICAL WELL-BEING
Includes three parameters -
1) what stress is and what it does to the body;
2) assessing personal stress levels; and
3) coping skills to reduce negative stress effects.

9. JWM, INC. NETWORK ALLIANCE
An opportunity for our clients to meet periodically for a couple of days and network on various issues of concern at a central location - sharing successes.

10. TEAM COORDINATOR / TRAINING MANAGER FORUM
A small group from our client organizations with similar job responsibilities meet periodically to share successes and explore needs. This forum is usually one day in length and is facilitated by our staff.

11. AFTER DINNER SPEAKING
Presentations that are custom designed to be humorous, motivational, inspirational, spiritual, serious, etc.

12. FACILITATION
The staff of J.W. Murphy & Associates, Inc. is very skilled at facilitating discussions on a variety of topics and with various groups in a way that helps all participants to be heard and assists the group in reaching a consensus.
